Budget Distributor
Budget Distributor is a unique software tool which enables a marketer to calculate the optimum spread of marketing spend between recruitment, product sales, brand and retention objectives, as well as distribution channel, and geographic region.
It allows the marketeer to set an overall goal (we call this the objective function) of sales contribution, customer recruitment, customer retention or brand metrics, but also to set a number of secondary targets which can be described in terms of minima or maxima:
- the maxima may include the overall budget, the budget by channel, the sales of specific products, recruitment or brand metrics
- the minima may be as the categories for maxima above, plus ROI per channel, and impact on specified customer segments or geographical sectors
Budget Distributer uses metrics such as the known relationship between spend in a channel directed at a specific objective, and its outcomes , together with the knowledge of how as spend in each channel increases, so its relative performance will decrease ( the law of diminishing returns).
